Exposure to blood or other infectious materials can put you at risk of contracting serious, potentially deadly diseases. This course will teach you about bloodborne pathogens, the risks they pose, and the steps you should take to protect yourself after potential exposure. Please note that this course does not cover universal precautions; you will need additional training, vaccinations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) for providing first aid or handling/cleaning up bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. This course is ideal for all workers.
