Course Description
OSHA mandates training on inorganic arsenic for employees exposed to it at or above specific levels. This course covers the potential health effects of inorganic arsenic and outlines measures to reduce or eliminate exposure that could lead to these health issues.
Course Objectives
- Recall the health hazards and permissible exposure limits of arsenic.
- Know what PPE to wear to protect against arsenic exposure.
- Define the regulated area.
- Know how to stay safe from arsenic exposure through hygiene, engineering controls, and medical surveillance.
