Course Description
Unexpected energization of semiconductor fabrication equipment during servicing or maintenance can lead to fatal consequences. This course covers lockout/tagout procedures that protect all employees and ensure that those performing maintenance and service work are fully responsible for their own safety. This training is ideal for semiconductor fabrication workers, especially those in authorized roles.
Curriculum Objectives
- Order the steps in the lockout/tagout procedure.
- Identify the requirements for each step in an effective lockout/tagout program.
- Identify the steps to be taken following the completion of the maintenance.
- Recognize when and how group LOTO may be used.
