First Aid – Basics

Course Description 

Incidents that require first aid can occur at any time and in any location. The initial response is crucial, as on-site first aid can significantly enhance a victim’s chances of survival and recovery. This course teaches you how to handle basic first aid situations until emergency medical services arrive. It’s designed for all employees!

Course Objectives 

• Access scenes and victims before providing first aid.
• Provide valuable information to emergency medical services.
• Recall guidelines about when and how to move victims.
• Recall basic first aid techniques for treating breath emergencies, choking, severe bleeding, shock, fractures, sprains, strains, and burns.
