Course Description

Federal law grants employees the fundamental right to understand the extent and effects of their exposure to harmful substances in the workplace. Employees are entitled to access all medical and exposure records generated during their employment. This course provides guidance on employee rights, the process for granting record access, and exemptions to information access. It is ideal for supervisors and employees responsible for handling record requests in the United States.

  • Recall employer requirements for retaining records and informing employees.
