Corrosive Safety
About This Course
Course Description
Corrosive materials pose risks beyond skin and eye hazards. Corrosives, such as acids and bases, can cause serious chemical damage to the skin, eyes, respiratory and digestive tracts, and even metals. Commonly found in laboratories and households, these chemicals are also highly reactive and can lead to fires, explosions, or intense heat-releasing reactions. This training will teach you how to identify, handle, and store corrosive materials safely, along with methods to prevent and respond to exposure incidents and emergencies. It’s valuable for anyone who may use or be in proximity to corrosive materials.
