Course Description
What if your company mishandled hazardous wastes or chemicals, resulting in environmental damage and worker injury? The consequences for the company, your job, and your life could be significant. This 3-part series aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to work in an environmentally responsible manner while ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations.

- Air Tanks, Oil, and Waste
- Storage Handling & Response
Through these courses, you will learn essential practices for managing hazardous materials effectively and minimizing risks to both the environment and workplace safety.
Curriculum Objectives
- Outlines environmental goals, the purpose of environmental management systems, environmental issues such as hazardous waste and stormwater, and management practices when dealing with industrial waste.
- Identify additional EPA-regulated environmental issues, including air emissions, stationary storage tank management, used oil, and universal waste.
- Reviews OSHA-regulated environmental issues, the elements of an Emergency Action Plan, significant steps in spill and fire response, storage requirements for hazardous chemicals, and issues related to handling chemicals.
These modules provide crucial updates and reinforce knowledge essential for maintaining safety and compliance in hazardous environments.
