Course Description
Incidents requiring first aid can occur anywhere and at any time. The initial response to these situations is crucial, as timely first aid can significantly enhance a victim’s chances of survival and recovery. This course covers how to respond to basic first-aid scenarios until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. It’s designed for all employees!
Course Objectives
- Explain when you might be held accountable for a victim’s outcome.
- Access scenes and victims before providing first aid.
- Provide valuable information to emergency medical services (EMS).
- Recall guidelines about when and how to move victims.
- Know basic first aid steps, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and bleeding control.
