Course Description
When someone suffers a serious burn or electrical shock, the pain can cloud their ability to think clearly. In these critical moments, the victim relies on you to know how to help. This training will refresh your knowledge of the different types of burns and how to administer first aid for both burns and electrical shock. It’s designed for employees who have already completed comprehensive first-aid training.
Course Objectives
- Know how to extinguish flames if you are on fire.
- Recognize first, second, and third-degree burns.
- Recognize heat, chemical and electrical burns, and electrical shock.
- Recall first aid to administer for various types of burns and electrical shock.
