About This Course

Course Description 

Labels keep us informed at all times—they guide our dietary choices, ensure we take the correct medications in the right dosages, and help us stay safe in high or confined spaces. The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) aims to enhance the quality and consistency of information provided to workers, employers, and chemical users by implementing a standardized approach to hazard classification, labels, and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).

  • The basic elements of a label under the GHS.
  • The labeling precedence scheme when multiple hazards are present.
  • Upcoming dates for compliance what GHS labeling requirements.
