About This Course

Course Description 

Hazards are universal, but languages are not. To ensure safety in workplaces around the world, standardized symbols known as pictograms have been developed to consistently communicate hazards across different environments and countries. This mini-module will cover pictograms and the hazards they represent, as seen on labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).

Course Objectives 

  • Recognize pictograms.
  • Recall the specific pictograms associated with specific hazards.
