Many destructive fires are caused by hot work, including cutting, welding, and other activities that generate heat and sparks. Adhering to best practices, company policies, regulations, and codes is essential to keep you and your co-workers safe. This course will cover the hazards, safety precautions, responsibilities, and emergency procedures related to this vital but risky work. It’s designed for all construction employees who perform, supervise, or work near hot work activities.
