Course Description
Victims of harassment have clearly defined rights under federal law, as well as many state and local laws. As a Manager or Supervisor, you play a critical role in both preventing harassment and addressing it when it occurs within your organization. To fulfill this responsibility, you need to understand what constitutes harassment and discrimination, the laws that prohibit them in the workplace, and the actions you must take to prevent and respond to workplace harassment. Additionally, you will learn how your organization’s anti-discrimination policy supports these efforts. This course will cover all of these essential topics.

- State the legally protected classes.
- Provide definitions and examples of discrimination, harassment, and sexual harassment.
- Five examples of quid pro quo and hostile work environment.
