Semiconductor Chemical Safety Bundle
About This Course
Course Description
This *Semiconductor Chemical Safety* bundle includes five courses: *Semiconductor Chemical Safety Part 1a: Introduction to the GHS*, *Part 1b: Communication, Controls, and Emergency Procedures (US)*, *Part 2: Hazards, Controls, and Emergency Actions*, *Part 3: Extremely Hazardous Chemicals*, and *Part 4: Hazardous Gases and Control Systems*.
Semiconductor workers are frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals and gases. This course series covers critical topics like the *Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)*, safe handling and disposal practices, and emergency procedures. Learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of various chemicals, their specific hazards, and required safety measures to prevent exposure and respond to emergencies effectively. The bundle also addresses hazardous gases used in semiconductor fabrication, explaining storage practices, potential hazards, and control systems to prevent accidental releases that could result in serious injury.
