Course Description
When paired with Sexual Harassment Prevention for Managers, this course satisfies the California AB 1825 and AB 2053 requirements for employers with five or more employees to educate supervisors about sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct every two years. Senate Bill (SB) 396 amends California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) to include protections against harassment based on gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
Harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct can occur anywhere in the workplace and in various forms. As a manager, it’s crucial to stay vigilant about workplace dynamics and understand how to address inappropriate and illegal behaviors. This course offers practical examples to enhance management awareness of potential employee issues and the associated legal liabilities.
