About Internship

VLSI Design Internship

The VLSI Design Internship at Quantum Academy is tailored for pre-final and final-year students in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. This program begins with a deep dive into essential VLSI concepts — including System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture, ASIC and FPGA design flows, Digital Electronics, and Verilog HDL. It’s the ideal starting point to gain the knowledge needed to take on protocol-driven, industry-grade projects.

  • PREREQUISITE– Good knowledge of Verilog
  • COURSE DURATION– 45 Days

The internship includes

  • Project Requirement & Specification Analysis

  • Design Architecture Development

  • Functional Partitioning of the Design

  • Module-Level Implementation

  • RTL Coding using Verilog HDL

  • RTL Synthesis

VLSI Verification Internship

This VLSI Verification Internship is specifically designed for pre-final and final year M.Tech/ME engineering students. It begins with a deep dive into VLSI Verification Methodology, SystemVerilog, and an overview of Universal Verification Methodology—key concepts essential for working on industry-standard protocol-based projects. By the end of the internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience and be well-equipped to become a skilled VLSI Verification Engineer.

  • PREREQUISITE– Good knowledge of Verilog
  • COURSE DURATION– 60 Days

The internship includes

  • Project Specification Analysis
  • Creating Testbench architecture
  • Building the top-level verification environment
  • Generating the functional and code coverage reports
  • Defining verification plan
  • Implementing the coverage model
  • Building the regression test suit

RISC V Design Internship

The RISC-V Internship offers comprehensive, hands-on training in RISC-V Design. During this internship, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the RISC-V ISA, the pipeline architecture of a RISC-V processor, and how to implement RTL designs using Verilog HDL. You will also learn how to utilize Verilog HDL for RTL synthesis and simulation through practical lab exercises. By the end of the program, you’ll have implemented the RTL design of a pipeline RISC-V processor in Verilog HDL, adhering to best practices in design, verification, and coding styles. This internship provides invaluable hands-on experience with RISC-V-based projects, making it an essential stepping stone for launching your career in the VLSI industry.

  • PREREQUISITE– Good knowledge of Verilog
  • COURSE DURATION– 60 Days

The internship includes

  • RISC-V Instruction Set Architecture
  • Verilog HDL Theory and Labs
  • RISC-V RV32I 5 stage pipeline processor RTL Design
  • Project: RISC-V RV32I 5 stage pipeline processor Design
Physical Design Internship
