Course Description 

In the semiconductor industry, employees frequently handle hazardous chemicals. This course will provide you with essential knowledge on how to properly store, use, and dispose of these chemicals, as well as the necessary steps to take in the event of a hazardous chemical incident. It is ideal for semiconductor employees.

Course Objectives 

• Know Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and label requirements according to the Globally Harmonized Systems of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
• Know what controls to use and precautions to take when storing and using hazardous chemicals.
• Know what to do when there is an emergency situation involving hazardous chemicals.
• Know disposal requirements and restrictions for hazardous chemicals.
