QA101 Flexible Power Sources: Challenges, Progress, and Integration
About This Course
Course Description
As innovative materials and processes make it possible to integrate high-performance microelectronics into ultra-thin, flexible hybrid electronics (FHE), the demand for equally flexible, ultra-thin power sources has grown. A key challenge lies in achieving high energy densities in batteries with reduced thickness, where packaging can take up a significant portion of the total volume. This is further complicated by the unique requirements of many FHE systems, which often need to deliver both high power (periodic, large current bursts) and high energy.
Learning Objectives
Review challenges and programs for new power supplies that are emerging to meet the needs of the FHE community.
Target Audience
- Managers, supervisors, engineers, technicians or any individual working directly with this equipment or product
