Supervisor Beginner

Bundle Description 

Learners on this pathway are preparing for supervisory roles by concentrating on effective communication and listening skills. These courses will introduce learners to the various forms of communication, including verbal, written, and nonverbal, with an emphasis on their effectiveness. This bundle includes six courses that also focus specifically on enhancing listening skills.

Bundle Objectives 

• List forms of communication and the barriers to them
• Understand the consequences of miscommunication
• Describe how to communicate face-to-face, by phone, and in written form
• Describe nonverbal communication, interpret body language, and list ways to covey openness
• Understand the importance of listening
• Describe common types of listening
• Explain the importance of listening skills for effective communication
